Palm, or Passion, Sunday, which marks the beginning of Holy Week, commemorates Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, when Jesus entered the city knowing He would be tried and crucified. We celebrate by blessing and sharing palm branches symbolizing the branches placed in front of Christ as he entered Jerusalem.
