Adult Conversion to Catholicism

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process through which non-baptised men and women enter the Catholic Church. It includes several stages marked by study, prayer and rites at Mass. Participants in the RCIA are known as catechumens, and undergo a process of conversion as they study the Gospel, profess their faith in Jesus and the Catholic Church, and receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and the Holy Eucharist.

Those Christians of other denominations who would like to enter full communion with the Catholic Church are also encouraged to join this programme.

To register your interest in RCIA, in the first instance, please complete the registration form and return it to Fr Luke or Fr Paul. Paper copies of the form are also available at the back of the church.

The information given on the form will be held securely in the parish office and used solely for the purposes of parish administration and to communicate with parish members.
