Free Wi-fi Access Terms & Conditions

Wi-Fi based internet access is provided in the St Mary Magdalen church properties free of charge subject to these terms and conditions of use which are applicable to all persons using the wi-fi service. Use of the service is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The wi-fi service may not be uninterrupted or error free. Your device may be exposed to viruses or other harmful applications and St Mary Magdalen Church accepts no responsibility for any harm or loss incurred as a result of using the wi-fi service. St Mary Magdalen Church reserves the right to remove the wi-fi service at any time without notice.

St Mary Magdalen Church reserves the right to monitor and collect information while you are connected to the wi-fi service and that the collected information can be used at discretion of St Mary Magdalen Church, including, but not limited to, sharing the information with any law enforcement agencies.

The free wi-fi service must not be used to access internet services, or send or receive e-mails, which:

• are defamatory, threatening, intimidating or which could be classed as harassment;

• contain obscene, profane or abusive language or material;

• contain pornographic material;

• contain offensive or derogatory images regarding sex, race, religion, colour, origin, age, physical or mental disability, medical condition or sexual orientation;

• contain material that infringes any third party’s rights including copyright and intellectual property rights;

• are bulk and/or commercial messages;

• contain forged or misrepresented message headers, whether in whole or in part, to mask the originator of the message;

• are activities that invade another’s privacy or are otherwise unlawful or inappropriate.

The wi-fi service must not be used to distribute internet viruses, trojan horses, or other destructive software.

The wi-fi service is intended for the use of parishioners and visitors to St Mary Magdalen church only. Access to this service must not be used for commercial activity.
