Ipswich Catholic Schools

Founded in 1871, St Pancras primary school was originally sited in Ipswich town centre, next to St Pancras Church on Cox Lane. In the late 1950s it was decided to re-locate the school on Stratford Road, in the expanding north-west suburbs of Ipswich where it was re-opened on September 16th 1957 and is now, despite its name, under the wing of St Mary Magdalen parish.

St Alban's Catholic High School is a secondary school and sixth form with academy status located in Ipswich, Suffolk, and is part of the Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Multi Academy Trust. It strives to provide an excellent education for its students within a caring Christian community where all are respected, valued and supported to achieve their potential. It aims to inspire everyone with the strength and purpose to begin the journey of learning for life and to prepare students to lead by their example in the modern world.

Located on Woodbridge Road, Ipswich, St Mary's Catholic Primary School is an outstanding school for boys and girls aged between 4 and 11, which is proud to be part of the Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Multi Academy Trust and the Diocese of East Anglia.

St Mark's is a Roman Catholic Voluntary Aided Primary School for children between the ages of four and eleven years. It opened in 1967 to cater for Catholic children in the south and west of Ipswich, stretching from Felixstowe in the east to the Suffolk border to the south, thus completing the availability of Catholic education in the area.
