In May 2026, the Diocese of East Anglia promulgated a new decree regarding Parish Pastoral Councils in all parishes of the Diocese of East Anglia. This decree can be read here.
The immediate effect of this Decree is that the Parish Mission Council (PMC), the representative body of parishioners set up as a consultative body by the parish priest, was renamed as the Parish Pastoral Council with minor changes to align it with the new decree.
